What reciprocity actually gets you
Reciprocity is not a licence transfer. Where Texas grants it, the effect is usually that TDLR — Electricians Program waives part of the examination for someone already licensed and in good standing elsewhere. You still submit a Texas application, and the state's other conditions still apply.
